2015

Thanks to our 10° concept by designer Kryštof Nosál, we sent a clear message to the international community of professional artists and designers that RAVAK is a brand you can rely on. As the only one from Bohemia, this bathroom concept won the most prestigious European award for innovative design in its category, the 2015 Red Dot Design Award.

2014

Gradual entry into the luxury segment was facilitated by the first freestanding bathtub (Freedom) in the RAVAK product range. The ingeniously simple shapes are full of emotion and give you freedom in deciding where you will bathe and your preferred view – just some of the benefits that have already won over customers since the bathtub was launched.

2013

A milestone year, which saw the RAVAK range enhanced by the first products in what would become the largest bathroom concept on the market – Chrome. Their designer, Kryštof Nosál, combined all elements of the ensemble with the discreet oval shape and simple modern shapes to create a friendly, minimalist solution, which suits every modern bathroom and includes absolutely everything you need in the bathroom and toilet.

2010

RAVAK also entered the water taps segment. The first ranges on offer were the Suzan, Rosa and Neo water taps, which currently make up the company’s fourth model series, all included in a comprehensive offer depending on the type of installation. They are made from the finest materials, with a five-year warranty and service guarantee at any time, directly from the manufacturer.

2009

Within the framework of fulfilling the designated strategy of comprehensive bathroom solutions, we included a completely new segment in the product range – bathroom furniture. It stands out from the rest of the market thanks to its special depth anti-moisture treatment (AMT) and design, which optimally builds on the individual successful bathtubs and washbasins by Kryštof Nosál.

2005

Newly established collaboration with a promising young designer Kryštof Nosál, at the time still a student at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, led to the creation of the notable Evolution bathtub that formed the revolutionary shift from the existing to the new RAVAK product range. The original design of the Evolution bathtub drew the attention of the professional panel of the Design Centre Czech Republic, who awarded it the Excellent Product of the Year accolade one year later.

2004

One of the products that is most popular among customers and most frequently imitated by competitors has a production tradition dating back to 2004. It is the folding Ovo seat, initially developed for use only in shower enclosures, but which is also currently offered in design variants adapted for use in any part of the interiors and in exteriors, due to its popularity. To date, its characteristic properties are the reliable capacity, maximum resistance of stainless metal, easy assembly and practicality of folding against the wall. In addition to the initially oval shape, we have also gradually added a modern square shape so that there is a seat design to satisfy every taste.

2000

The company began cooperation with the excellent Austrian company, Design Storz, which is well-known in the automotive industry, as well as in consumer goods design. This joint development brought successful products such as the Whitewater shower enclosure, Avocado, LoveStory and Magnolia bathtubs and most recently in 2009, the XXL bathtub. In 2004, RAVAK began collaboration with leading Czech designer Kryštof Nosál, the creator of designer innovations, cast washbasins and the Evolution, Praktik and BeHappy bathtubs.

1998

1998 marked the beginning of the production of acrylic bathtubs. In 1999, RAVAK developed the original Rosa bathtub, which became the bestselling bathtub in Europe and won many prestigious awards at international fairs. Its huge success guided RAVAK product development towards practicality and design. In the same year, hydromassage systems were introduced for most of the bathtubs produced.

1997

The company expanded its production range with luxury shower enclosures with an AntiCalc glass coating. From 1996 to 1997, RAVAK began to expand abroad. First international operations were developed in Slovakia, Germany, Russia and Poland, followed by Hungary, the Baltic nations and Ukraine. Over the coming years, RAVAK expanded its reach to other countries in Europe and Asia, namely the United Arab Emirates, Spain, Latvia, China, Romania, Kazakhstan. Currently, RAVAK has several subsidiaries abroad and exports to over 50 countries in Europe, Asia and Africa.

Foundation

The Czech family company RAVAK was founded in 1991 by the Vařeka and Kreysa families, who successfully built the largest manufacturer of bathroom equipment in the Czech Republic and actively manage the company to date. The production range initially comprised shower enclosures and shower trays, initially under licence from a French manufacturer. In 1993, RAVAK invested in internal development and one year later, it presented its Supernova shower enclosure range manufactured using its own patented technology, which consumers still consider the most reliable shower enclosure on the market.
